Local Art Glass Studio Tour with Owner Evan Burnette

Classes

Starting in 2023 we are going to begin to open our studio to the public for glassmaking experiences and lessons. In April we will begin to offer glassblowing. Later this year we will be expanding the program to include kiln glass, fusing, and casting classes form beginning to advanced levels.

When participating in a glassblowing experience, we suggest wearing closed toe shoes and non-synthetic materials – why? On the extreme off chance your clothing comes in contact with hot glass or an open flame, cotton smolders, synthetics melt. You don’t want melting clothing next to your skin. Eye protection will be provided by Local Art Glass. Participants will need to sign a liability agreement prior to participating.

Scheduling

Until our scheduling portal becomes live on our website, please email us to arrange your class. We typically operate between 10 am to 5pm. Scheduling outside of these hours may be available upon request.
